Statement on the Karen Read's Trial Update

Hi Everyone:

I have spoke with Sergeant Joe Friday and Officer Bill Gannon here in my office at The Jimmy Hui Foundation since they were returned from the Norfolk County Superior Courthouse in Dedham after the judge have been announced it was mistrial on the case of Karen Read after the jurors have been deliberating since began last week on Tuesday after the closing argument wrap it up here in the courtroom.

There is no official verdict on the case of Karen Read at this time of moment. 

It was being declared for the mistrial by the judge have been announced today in the courtroom.

It was tough case to review these testimony, evidence and cases over the last few days and weeks here at the Norfolk County Superior Courthouse in Dedham.

I thank Sergeant Joe Friday and Officer Bill Gannon for their time to assist with the law enforcement officials on the ground at Norfolk County Superior Courthouse in Dedham over the last two or three days. 

I can't comment whether or not if the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office will try to retrial on the case of Karen Read. 

I will send Sergeant Joe Friday and Officer Bill Gannon back to Norfolk County Superior Courthouse in Dedham to assist with the law enforcement officials until the further notice under these circumstances for the time being if necessary.
