MBTA Red Line Service Advisory Alert begins next week on Monday

Hi Everyone:

I would like to let you know that MBTA will send the shuttle buses to be replace from the Red Line service in the effective beginning next week on Monday, August 19, 2024 through Sunday, August 25, 2024 due to the track work activity at the between from JFK/UMass Station to Kendall/MIT Station.

The MBTA will return back to the normal service for the Red Line train service: Ashmont and Braintree line begins on Monday, August 26, 2024. 

I would ask you for your patience and your cooperation are very important that we need to give the MBTA crews chance to do their part to take a full responsibility in the order to fix the Red Line train service needs to return back up and running as quickly as possible without any delay.

There are a lot of work to do in the order to fix the infrastructure issue to deal with the MBTA over the last few days, weeks, months and even years that they needs to do their part and to their jobs to keep the track of their daily activities on the maintenance such as: buses, subways, commuter rails, commuter boats and The RIDE.

Please allow an extra time to travel arrangement accordingly throughout the day and night whenever you need to go during the commute rush hours.

The speed restrictions have caused a lot of major problems with the MBTA over the last few days, weeks and months right here and right now.

I have a full confident that MBTA will get fix and will get done as quickly as possible in the order to return back to the service by the end of the year whenever it takes right here and right now.

I will be on the social media platform such as: Facebook and X so that you can get in the touch with me at anytime and anywhere for any questions or concerns regarding about the shuttle buses issues during in the day and night.

The City of Quincy officials have no jurisdiction in the order to control on the public transportation matters with the MBTA such as the shuttle buses and Red Line service.

I would strongly encouraging you to contact directly with the MBTA Customer Service for an immediate assistance that you need some help for the navigation where you need to go based on your destination route during in the day and night commute rush hours.

Here's the recommendation:

  • MBTA Customer  Service Department: (617) 222-3200 for an immediate assistance.
  • MBTA Transit Police Department: (617) 222-1212 to report for any suspicious activity or behavior on the shuttle buses, commuter rails or commuter boats in the between from Monday, August 19, 2024 through Sunday, August 25, 2024.
  • Transit Ambassadors will be on the site every stations at Red Line sites and on the shuttle buses.
  • T personnel and Yankee personnel will be on the site every stations at Red Line sites.
  • Transit Police Officers will be on the site every stations at Red Line sites and other areas.

Please be patience with us and let us do our part to keep the community safe haven on the T and here in the City of Quincy throughout the remainder of this summer season in the month of August.
